Overview

Both the NPCC HQ campcraft and drills competitions are different events held every 2 years, each a year after the other. For the campcraft competition, cadets in the team are assigned to various tasks (like tent pitching, flag raising & a creative gadget). Their communication and teamwork skills are put to the test as they work together to efficiently produce a good end product. The competition is always very exciting as cadets from more than 100 schools train really hard and strive to excel.

The drills competition is equally anticipated, cadets would have to come up with a drills sequence which lasts for a few minutes and execute it in front of judges. A cadet from the unit would step out and command the squad. Every member is equally important and must do his best for the squad to appear organised and prepared.
